Will Fisher, LCPC, M.Div

Chicago, & Evanston offices
Office:(866) 220-8371
Direct Line:(630) 781-1607

Will has over 25 years of experience walking through life’s ups and downs with adults, adolescents, couples, and families.  He sees his role as a fellow companion on the journey; there to support, encourage, and occasionally nudge in a different direction.  Will’s primary goal is and has always been to create a safe and trusted emotional space in which individuals and/or families can explore the issues, questions, and dreams of their lives.  As a psychodynamic therapist, Will knows that clients often need time to get at the roots of the issues that are causing them stress or discomfort in life.  He also knows that sometimes a quick coping strategy or two are needed to allow a client to look deeper below the surface.  In our society’s current state of upheaval and uncertainty, more and more people are looking for someone to listen to them and guide them without judgement through the stresses of modern life. Will’s approachability, experience, and education make him just such a “someone.”

With a B.A. from Rutgers University, an M.Div from Luther Seminary, over two decades of progressive and accepting churchwork, and a Masters of Counseling from Loyola University in Chicago, Will has been prepared to work with each client, whether an individual or family, in a way that recognizes and accepts the background and history each brings into the therapeutic space.  Will’s approachability, sense of humor, and genuineness have been appreciated by a wide variety of clients experiencing issues like depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma and much more.  Will is particularly comfortable and experienced with LGBTQ+ issues, men’s issues, communication and relationship issues in couples, spiritual issues, and adolescent issues.
